Listing Display Options and Categories
Do you know that you can setup our software to have virtually unlimited categories and job and resume listings? Our software provides a powerful and unique 3-way main category system. You create 3 different sets of unlimited main categories which are connected between each other such as Seek Jobs, Job Offers as action main-categories, computers, tv/media, real estate, etc. as job category types and west coast, south, west, southwest as location categories. Further you can create subcategories such as TV/Media -> USA -> New York -> Manhattan..., the specifications are endless. The categories provide a preview of the job and resume listing and thumbnail photo. Your users can sort preview results according to any field in ascending or descending order. Agents who are currently online are marked with a green flag. Users can browse full job and resume listings, save job and resume listings to hotlist, send job and resume listings to friends, send mails to agents, view agents profile, report job and resume listings to you and view full sized photos (only if their account permissions YOU define allow them to).
- Automatically generate thumbnails for posted images (requires free perl modules GD.pm OR image::magick pre-installed on your system and our thumbnail creation module). No more manual resizing. All photos your agents upload will be resized to a thumbnail size YOU define.
- job and resume listing process is fully customizable by admin, create your own individual job and resume listing service. Display all forms on one large page or split up into several steps between pages, making it easier to edit.
- Example: The first step determines the category that fits best.
Example: The second step gathers detailed information about the job or resume listing.
Example: The third step gathers the headline and job or resume listing description text, you can limit the amount of words optionally.
Example: The fourth step gives the agent the opportunity to upload pictures and other media files like videos, audio, doc files, etc. Pictures can be previewed first before going to the final step.
Example: The final step is to review and confirm what has been submitted, at any time your agents can go back to edit any part they want.
Note: Until the job and resume listing has not been submitted, the job and resume listing is still incomplete.
- Ability of showing submitted job and resume listing fields during job and resume listing process on each step.
- Ability of "submit & preview" button during job and resume listing on each step, so if the agent just wants to make a tiny change he/she can do so quickly and conviently.
- Depending on how you set the job and resume listing type, it can either be posted right away or waiting for your review and approval.
- You can set the days the job and resume listing remains active. Updating the job and resume listing does not extend the job and resume listing expiration date.
- Ability to automatically keep track of the total number of job and resume listings posted by agents.

- Multimedia content allowed! Agents can upload and display photos, sound files, and video clips and other documents in job and resume listings and their multimedia galleries.
- Multiple File format upload (wav, media, gif, exe, xls, doc, etc...).
- Multiple photos/images to appear per job and resume listing, agents can upload unlimited number of images to their photo gallery and assign upto 10 photos to their job and resume listing.
- Thumbnail photos will be automatically resized if their full size if too big to fit in summary format.
- Optionally display the posted date on job and resume listing pages.
- Optionally display of expiration date on job and resume listing pages.
- Ability for administrator to set the maximum number of words that may be contained in certain fields (such as the "text" field that contains the body of the ad).
- Size of included text in job and resume listings can be controlled by the administrator.
- Preview feature that allows agents to preview their job and resume listing before it is posted.
- Our HOTLIST feature allows users to save certain job and resume listings for later viewing. When they come back in the future and click on "My Hotlist" in their control panel, the program will display all of their saved job and resume listings. We call this "the digital equivalent of circling job and resume listings in the newspaper."
- "Send this job and resume listing to friends" facility, linked from ad preview and full ad page job and resume listing, helps promoting your service and spreading the word.
- "Report this job and resume listing" facility, users can report job and resume listings that violate terms etc., helps keeping clean content throughout your job and resume listing pages.

- Users can rank job and resume listings anywhere in categories and in search results according to posted date, most replied, most saved or most viewed.
- Users can sort any field in category browsing results in ascending and descending order.
Expiration of job and resume listings
- job and resume listings are set to expire after a certain amount of time as defined by admin.
- Optional automatically send notification by e-mail to users whose job and resume listings are about to expire.
- Admin can choose whether to keep expired job and resume listings in database or delete them from database.
